On 14 December, The Deputy Governor of Pilgrim Affairs Management and Coordination in Khorasan Razavi Province, Mr. Mohammad Sadegh Barati and his accompanying team, visited the center of Pilgrimage and Tourism studies pavilion in the week-long festival of Research and Technology. The executives, Ms. Sadeghi and Mowlayi, presented the previous year achievements of the Institute to them.

To commemorate the week-long Research and Technology festival, December 10-14, the Research, Technology, and Marketing Tech pavilion was held in Mashhad International Exhibition. The exhibition also included the center of Pilgrimage and Tourism studies under the aegis of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad team, and presented its scientific research achievements during the previous year.

On Monday, June 17, 2019, the deputy governor of Pilgrimage and Tourism of the province visited the department of Pilgrimage and Tourism in Ferdowsi University. A meeting was held, then, with the participation of a number of governors of the province and the Pilgrimage and Tourism department. During the meeting, the head of the department honored the guests and considered the formation process, plans and actions taken from the beginning of the establishment of the department. He also referred to the recent talks with the Iraq Consul General for a joint plan on Iraqi pilgrims.

A meeting with Iraqi guests from Al-Amid University and Astan Qods Hazrat Abolfazl Al-Abbas (AS)
On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, a meeting with a number of Iraqi guests from the University of Al-Amid and Astan Qods Hazrat Abolfazl Al-Abbas (AS) was held at the headquarters of the department. Meanwhile, in the meeting, the Chair of the department honored guests with the interest and capabilities of the department to interact with the universities of Iraq and especially Al-Atabat Al-Aliyat in this country. Next, Dr. Osama Abd Al-Hassan Kazem from Astan Qods Abolfazl Al-Abbas (AS) and Dr. Mo'ayyid Omran Al-Ghazali, adviser to Al-Amid University, favored the use of capacities of Ferdowsi University, especially the Pilgrimage and Tourism Department, and invited members of the Department to attend a scientific conference entitled Medical Services in the pilgrimage of Arbaeen on September 16, 2019 (25 Sharivar, 1398).
